Occasionally I will comment on, or add comments to, some of the Professional blogs or sites that I am a fan of. It’s all real, it’s not always meant to flatter, but it’s pretty much always on the mark…
From the exceptional analysis by Robert Scoble in his SAI article of 3/24/2011, entitled “MySpace’s Death Spiral:…”, we further comment [as we have been in our coursework at WebTVWorkshop since July 2010], on the firm’s move to LA…and it’s failure to gather momentum around Video/TV/Movie assets [which Fox, as part of NewsCorp, owns], as compared to Music properties [of which it owns none], all of which makes for huge, bitter irony.
In the very well written Independent Film Blog, we comment on Stacey Parks’ article, entitled, Converting Fans to Customers.
From the 12/28 edition of NewTeeVee, we offer comment on Liz Shannon Miller’s excellent insight, in 2011 Prediction: Forget About Viral Video.
I was compelled to make some very strong comments on the 8/26 Online Video Insider column by Tod Sacerdoti, CEO of BrightRoll. See my comments following this article, entitled, Scale vs. Sizzle: The Online Ad Conundrum.
From an exceptional article today on MediaPost, entitled, MediaBank Launches ‘DSP’, I offered a couple of thoughts in the Comments section.
This is an excellent article on WebWorkerDaily that I commented on; the piece here is entitled, ’5 Problems with Measuring Social Media Marketing’, by Aliza Sherman. [5/31/10]
The 4/30 Online Publishing Insider [a la' MediaPost], has an article from the great Ari Rosenberg [whom I've loved reading for quite some time], entitled, ‘Online Video Has No Character.’ An inflammatory title if there ever was one~! I did not agree with his point here, and so HAD to weigh in…along with some other very senior people in the industry.
A great Sales blog that I found on Alltop [where MoM[S] is also featured], is the Heavy Hitters Sales Blog, by Steve W. Martin. I added a comment to his exceptional 4/1/10 piece, entitled, The Six Real Reasons Why VPs of Sales are Fired.
On today’s MediaDailyNews [3/26/10], see the MoM[S] comment for article, “In High-Stakes Ad Game, Agencies Losing Cards.”
I added a Comment to the 3/12 article on TechCrunch, entitled, “MySpace’s MidLevel Mgmt Structure is Crumbling.“
